Chapli kabab recipe

Chapli kabab is a famous dish among Indian and Pakistani Muslims. The beef or chicken is flattened in circle shape and fried with a blend of spices. Serve it with Pav or Bun with pudina chutney to taste better.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg Beef or chicken minced
  • 250 gm fat trimmings minced
  • 3 tbsp green chillies roughly chopped
  • 1.5 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp sount powder dried ginger (adrak)
  • 4 tsp black pepper powder
  • 4 tsp cumin seed powder
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tsp kabab cheeni
  • 3 tsp coriander powder
  • 2 tbsp whole corainder seeds coarsely crushed
  • 3 tbsp dry chilli flakes
  • 3 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 3 tsp salt as per your taste
  • 1 cup dalwa flour phutane or bhuna chana
  • 1 cup mint leaves chopped
  • 1 cup coriander leaves chopped
  • 6-7 Nos onions finely chopped, medium sized
  • 4 Nos lemons juice strained
  • 250 ml oil for frying

Instructions

  • Combine minced meat, fat trimmings, green chillies and all the dried ingredients followed by squeezed onions.
  • cover and refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes
  • add lemon juice and give it a good mix
  • the mixture is ready for frying.
